Email from Nancy (Lazaryan) Hutchison titled "just got back from oncologist", sent Wed, Sep 23: we FINALLY got an appointment with an oncologist. John starts treatment in a couple of weeks. First there is a class on "cancer chemo", then they take a blood sample and determine the cancer from the genetics. He will get immunotherapy and very specific chemo that targets the specific genetics of the type of cancer he has. It has been a long hard week already. Yesterday was the almost two hour drive to get his catheter changed (did not go well, but he is okay now). Today the oncologist. On Saturday we are hoping to drive an hour north into the Redwood forest and spend the day relaxing.
