The Hyperliquid crypto exchange flagged my wallet address because I received a one-time donation of $9 from a subscriber that used the Iran exchange Ompfinex 3 months ago.

This is likely due to Trump's recent economic D-Day sanctions on Iran.... 🤡🇺🇸🤡🇺🇸🤡🇺🇸🤡🇺🇸

Hyperliquid support ticket-18551: iliensinc explains the address was flagged as high risk based on interactions with sanctioned jurisdiction Ompfinex. Math Easy Solutions replies: Thanks for the info. To clarify, I have never used OMPFinex, do not reside in Iran, and I'm a Canadian resident. This wallet is roughly 8 years old, so if there's a connection to OMPFinex, it's most likely an indirect link, for example a counterparty who sent me funds years ago may have had prior interaction with that exchange, without my knowledge.
