In this video I provide an overview of the Hive cryptocurrency and how to create your own immutable account on the Hive blockchain. Hive was founded in 2020 as a community hard fork of Steem after Justin Sun, billionaire founder of Tron, undertook a hostile takeover of Steem. Since then, the Hive community and blockchain has grown to be a resilient and censorship resistant platform to upload text content, earn stable high-interest yield dollars, and build immutable communities that can't be seized or censored by any central authority.
