Reverse Image Search
Free reverse image search on Google Lens, Bing, TinEye, Yandex, Baidu, SauceNAO and more at once: paste an image link or upload, drop or paste a picture, search just part of it, flip it, and open every site together. Private: your picture is never uploaded to mes.fm.
Paste an image link or add a picture: both boxes are here, use whichever you have. The one you used last is the one that gets searched.
Right-click a picture on any site and choose Copy image address (or Copy image link), then paste it here. Links that end in .jpg, .png or .webp work best.
Your picture stays in this browser until you press Open. Then, unless you turn it off below, a resized copy is kept for one hour at a private link on mes.fm so each site can load it by itself, and is deleted automatically.
Add your own image search site
Paste the site's address with %s (or {u}) where the image link goes, for example https://tineye.com/search?url=%s.
⌨ Search from your address bar: type r, a space and an image link
Add this page to your browser as a site search shortcut (it takes about 30 seconds). Then type r, Space and paste an image address in the address bar: this page opens with the picture filled in, and Enter (or Open) searches every site you ticked. It is a shortcut only: your normal search engine stays the default.
The image link you type is sent to mes.fm only to fill this page in; mes.fm's visit counter ignores it on this page. Want to search with words the same way? Search Engines does that (its suggested shortcut is mes).
Reverse image search on every engine at once
Reverse image search finds where a picture came from. Instead of visiting Google Lens, Bing, TinEye and Yandex one by one, give the picture once and open all of them together. Paste a link, or upload, drop or paste the picture itself, tick the sites you want and press Open.
What makes this one useful
- Link or file. Paste an image address, drag a picture in, choose a file, or paste a screenshot straight from your clipboard.
- Search just part of the picture. Drag a box around the person, object or logo you care about (file mode).
- Rotate and flip first: many reposts are mirrored, and a flipped copy finds them.
- Sets for the job: popular engines, finding the original, art and anime sources.
- Add your own reverse image search site; your choices are remembered on this device.
- Private: in link mode nothing is uploaded. For a picture file, a resized copy is stored for one hour at a private, unguessable mes.fm link when you press Open, so the sites you tick can load it; it is then deleted. Switch Let the sites load my picture off to keep it entirely on your device.
Questions
Why do some sites need me to press Ctrl+V?
Google Lens, TinEye and some others do not accept a picture sent from another website (they refuse it for security). So with a file, this page copies the picture to your clipboard and opens the site: press Ctrl/⌘ + V there. SauceNAO and IQDB accept the file directly. With a link, every site opens already searching.
How do I find the original source of a photo?
Use the Find the original set. In TinEye, sort the results by Oldest; in Google Lens look for the largest version and the earliest date. Then check who posted it first.
What can I do with a local screenshot if a site only takes links?
Use the paste route (Lens, Bing, Yandex and TinEye all accept a pasted picture), or upload the file to a place you control and paste its link.
Is there face search?
No, on purpose. Face-recognition search sites can be used to track and harass people, so they are not included. You can still add any site yourself with the button above.
Want to search words instead? Use Search Engines, which opens one text search in 70+ engines.
