About Pacific Time (Vancouver & Richmond, BC)
Richmond, British Columbia keeps the same clock as Vancouver, Seattle and Los Angeles: North American Pacific Time. From roughly mid-March to early November it observes Pacific Daylight Time (PDT), which is UTC−7; the rest of the year it is Pacific Standard Time (PST), UTC−8. This converter switches between PDT and PST for you based on the date you enter, so a summer conversion and a winter conversion of “1:00 PM Vancouver” give different UTC results — as they should.
Common conversions from 1:00 PM in Vancouver
During PDT (summer), 1:00 PM in Vancouver is about 4:00 PM in New York and Toronto, 9:00 PM in London, 10:00 PM in Paris and Berlin, 1:30 AM the next day in Mumbai, and 5:00 AM the next day in Tokyo.
