Online timer, stopwatch and alarm clock, all on one page
This free online timer puts a countdown timer, a stopwatch and an alarm clock on the same page, so you can run all of them at once: a pasta timer, a stopwatch for your workout and a meeting alarm, side by side. It works on your computer and your phone, with no sign-up and nothing to install.
Make the page yours
- Add more timers. Use Show to add a Pomodoro timer, an interval (HIIT) timer or a countdown to a date next to the three main ones.
- Stacked or side by side. Choose a layout, then drag the ⠿ handle on any timer to put them in the order you like. Your layout is remembered.
- Several countdowns. Press + Add another timer and label each one: pasta, laundry, tea.
- See the time in the browser tab. While a timer runs its time is in the tab title, so you can work in another window and still check it.
- Keeps counting. Reload the page or close the tab and a running timer or stopwatch carries on from the real clock; a timer that finished while you were away tells you so.
- Display mode. Press 📺 Display (or D) to show just the times of the timers you choose, as big tiles on a full screen: a wall display for the kitchen, classroom, gym or stream. Pick what it shows with Choose timers.
- Full screen. A huge, easy-to-read display for a classroom, a presentation or the gym wall.
- Your sound. Friendly or annoying alarm, beeps, a chime or silence; once, three times or until you stop it.
- Share a timer.

Questions
Will the timer still work if I switch tabs?
Yes. It measures time from your computer’s clock instead of counting ticks, so it stays accurate in a background tab. Browsers may delay the alert by up to a second or so when a tab is hidden.
Why did I not hear the sound?
Browsers only allow sound after you have clicked something on the page, so press Start or Test sound at least once. Check your volume and that the tab is not muted.
