    Convert PNG to JPEG (and back) in bulk

    Drop a whole folder of PNG screenshots or photos, choose JPEG, and download every converted file in one ZIP. JPEG files are usually 5 to 10 times smaller than the same PNG, which makes pages load faster and uploads quicker. Choose PNG when you need transparency or sharp text, or WebP for the smallest files that still keep transparency.

    What happens to transparent PNGs?
    JPEG cannot store transparency, so transparent pixels are filled with the colour you pick (white by default). PNG and WebP keep transparency.
    Does it reduce quality?
    PNG to PNG is lossless. JPEG and WebP are lossy: at 90% you will not see a difference, at 75% files are much smaller with slight softening.
    Can I resize at the same time?
    Yes: set a maximum width, height, a box or a percentage. Smaller images are left alone.
    Is there a file limit?
    No limit on count. Very large batches are limited only by your device's memory, so for hundreds of 20 MP photos convert in groups.
    HEIC photos from an iPhone?
    Only Safari can read HEIC. In other browsers, set your iPhone camera to “Most Compatible” or share as JPEG.
