MES Kids: Free Learning Games for Toddlers (No Ads)

Free talking flashcards for toddlers and young kids: animals with real animal sounds, ABC, shapes and colours, numbers and counting, with a gentle What's this? game. Big bright cards, kid-proof full screen, no ads, nothing uploaded.

For grown-ups

  • Big cards, spoken words. Every card says its word out loud. Tap the picture to hear it again, swipe (or use the arrow keys) for the next one.
  • "What's this?" The page says a word and your child picks the right picture from 2, 3 or 4. Wrong taps just say what that picture is and try again: there is no losing.
  • Settings are hidden from little fingers: hold the ⚙️ Grown-ups button for 2 seconds to choose categories, letter case, show or hide the word, the voice, speed and pitch.
  • Kid-proof screen: Fill window or Full screen hides everything else; to leave, hold ✕ for 2 seconds.
  • No ads, no sign-up, nothing uploaded. Settings stay in this browser. The voice is your device's own speech voice.

Free learning games for toddlers and young children

MES Kids is a set of simple, bright flash-card games for children from about 1 to 5 years old: Flashcards (animals, colours, shapes, food, things, vehicles and body parts, shuffled), Animal Sounds with real recordings, the ABC, Shapes & Colours and Numbers. Each card shows a big picture and word and says the word out loud; "What's this?" turns it into a gentle game of finding the right picture.

Questions

Are there ads?
No. The MES Kids pages carry no ads, need no account, and upload nothing. Settings and the star count stay in your browser.
How do I stop my toddler leaving the page?
Press Fill window or Full screen on any activity. Inside it, the Back button and Escape key stay on the cards and the page asks before the browser leaves; to get out, hold ✕ for 2 seconds. A web page can't block a phone's home gesture or a computer's own shortcuts, so on a phone or tablet use Guided Access (iPhone and iPad: Settings, Accessibility) or Screen pinning (Android: Settings, Security) as well.
Where does the voice come from?
From your device: the page uses the browser's built-in speech voices (the Web Speech API). Hold the ⚙️ Grown-ups button for 2 seconds to pick a voice, and to make it slower or higher.
Which ages is it for?
Toddlers (about 18 months) enjoy tapping pictures and hearing words and animal sounds; preschoolers can play "What's this?", match letters and count to 10 or 20.
