Animal sound credits (public domain and CC0 recordings)

Every recording is from Wikimedia Commons and is in the public domain or under CC0, so it is free for anyone to use. We trimmed each one to a few seconds and evened out the volume. Animals without a free recording (cow, tiger, mouse) say their sound with the voice instead.

Pick an age at the top. Each question is said out loud and shown with big pictures; your child taps the answer. A wrong tap just explains and lets them try again: there is no losing, and every right answer earns a star.

    Ages 4-5
Count up to ten, add with pictures (2 apples and 3 apples), take away (5 balloons, 2 fly away), and which number comes before or after.
    Ages 6-7
Adding and taking away up to 20, counting by twos, fives and tens, "what comes next?" shape patterns, and how many sides a shape has.

Tips: count out loud together, point at each picture, and use real things (spoons, blocks) for the same questions. Grown-ups can choose 2, 3 or 4 answers to pick from (hold โš™๏ธ for 2 seconds). Fill window or Full screen keeps little fingers on the game; hold โœ• for 2 seconds to leave. Link straight to an age with ?age=1, ?age=2 or ?age=3.
